THE PEACE WALK
Vänersborg to Trollhättan 2013
A peace walk between the two rival cities of Vänersborg and Trollhättan. The participants were led by some dressed up militaries and a white horse with a peace flag and together they carried an enormous dice. The walk contained a poet reading, a workshop on boundaries, history lecture, meditation walk and finished with a samba orchestra walking alongside the participants and then we all had dinner together in the Art Hall.
A collaboration between Maria Quarfordt Brising and me and the peace walk was a part of GIBCA Extended, a biennale in Gothenburg.
