Various small cities 2021, 2022 and ongoing

I have been sitting alone with no equipment except for the prayer kneeler I sit on. It's a series of performances in small towns in Sweden. I do them without the support and framing of a photographer. It’s an ongoing project and so far I have been to Lysekil, Uddevalla, Skövde, Mariestad, Åmål and Strömstad. I have had different reactions. Someone gave me a pair of gloves since it was a bit cold, some people think I am protesting against the war. Some people came forward to say “Thank you” while one mother was really upset. “WHAT is this and how can I explain that people are doing like this?! I have to explain it to my children?!” she said in a very high voice.
